Who Are The Habjans?
It’s
just myself, my husband Matt, and Ellie the Boston…but that’s our family.
We currently live in Albuquerque, New Mexico where we have been for the last 4
years. We like to get outside as often as we can and go hiking, backpacking,
skiing, fishing, or just soaking up the sights of wherever the wind takes
us. We both love to travel and are
fascinated by different cultures and the richness of what you can learn from
them. We both are musicians, photographers, and art lovers.
Jessica
I am currently working as a freelance video producer and editor for PBS. When I’m not camped out in the edit bay, I like crocheting old fashion doilies, throwing pottery, reading a good book or catching up on my Netflix queue watching odd documentaries.
Matt
Matt is currently working as an engineer. When he’s not traveling for work he you can find him editing, selling and showing his pictures from his all travels, playing video games, driving the dog crazy, reading a fantasy book, or watching a Bond movie.
Ellie
Ellie likes going on long walkies, playing with any other dog or person she encounters at the dog park, lazing around in the sun, playing with toys that make lots of noise, snuggling, and in general just being a dog.
In the next few
months we are planning on moving back to Oregon where we hope to
settle down more permanently by beginning the process of buying a home and eventually starting a family.
Before that we
are going to take a 3-month tour of Western Europe this summer (When we got
married my stipulation was before we have kids I wanted to see Europe!). As of
right now we are currently planning on visiting around 15 different countries.
So there are a
lot of exciting things on the horizon for us!
